Service hours

Cadets are required to have 12 service hours per quarter and can meet their service hour requirements through Salutes Reports or by filling out a community service form.

Salutes Reports

Salutes Reports give the Size - number of cadets needed, the Activity - what you’re signing up for, Location - where it’s going to take place, Uniform - the attire for the event, Time - when you have to be there, Equipment - what you need to bring, and Service Hours - the amount of service hours you earn.

Salutes Reports also have a space to sign up to be the Officer in Charge (OIC). The OIC leads the event, takes muster (attendance), and is responsible for keeping track of the Salutes Report.

There’s another space for the attending CADRE where at least one of the four members of the CADRE attends that event to ensure things are going smoothly and isn’t required to stay for the entirety of the event.
